follow-up 4 track 12 inch to the first volume that was released earlier this year. in line with the concept of these two eps, the tracks were again taken from juergen junker live-set, recorded straight out of the machines. friend of the house is a collaboration with pavan mann, whose vocal parts are chopped to bits and more than just add to the live-live feel of the track. therell be more of him in the near future…watch out! its a jungle has a more hypnotic vibe and lures you deeper into the house jungle. dammit is the straight-up jackin track on this ep. no messing around, just rough sounding head-nodding material . feel what i feel starts of as a deep chordy affair. hard to let go off, once the little acid-lines start dropping in. all in all, its house! its that simple… as the neurhythmics also has its 10 year anniversary this month, there will be a special limited edition of this record. 54 records will come with a miniature 3-colour stencil canvas by juergen junker, hand-made and numbered, complete with a mini-easel.

ultraschall is an homage to the first big techno club in munich. the owners of harry klein were part of the old ultraschall, which has a unique legendary status nowa¬days. the older generation in particular often long for the good old days. yes those times shouldnt be forgotten, especially not in terms of sound, but its also important to move on and attempt new things. like supporting vinyl, going to a who¬lefood shop or ending war. ok that might sound like a bro¬ken record, but how about spending less time on facebook and actually with your friends, cooking for your parents or organizing a break dance battle in your backyard? daniel takes us on a journey through the past and back to the future again. a charming mixture of laid-back grooves combined with some rough n ready rave moments make this a rapturous trip, no matter what time it is. track names are a really interesting element of music. some artists dont care about them at all and call their tracks a1 or something non-descript. yet many titles can be really funny, others made up words, and some corre¬spond to current events or times. some just really fit the sound. if you lose something, in general its a pretty nasty and unsettling feeling. but you have to deal with bad luck when it strikes. losing something can teach you an im¬portant lesson, or simply show you what it means to be unfortunate and down. not knowing the lows as well as the highs wont allow you to evaluate life very well. most important is to really feel and be yourself, despite the ups and downs.

11 track double vinyl album from new mark broom and james ruskin supergroup ! limited initial run on marbled grey vinyl - similar look to the recent sfbsf003 surface 12inch full picture sleeve. the project, knows as the fear ratio, has seen two of the uks finest proponents of no-nonsense, immaculately sculpted techno locked in the studio together. these sessions have already borne three 12 inch titles - no time soon, erotic misery and night nurse – two of which were released on ruskins blueprint records, with the other pressed up on brooms beard man imprint. the fear ratio moniker was adopted following the release of these club-focused 12s, with the album project honing in on more abstract and experimental textures. ruskin revealed details about the project in an interview earlier this year. he said a live fear ratio project was also in the works, with a press release claiming these would commence in 2012. as the fear ratio, broom and ruskin delve into the hinterland of contemporary music. a space where cold atmospheres meet lush melody and tough, yet clipped pulsating beats. from the warm poly-rhythmic funk of >ax< to the deep spatial reverb of >guv 1<, the dub induced strains of >pinhead< and melancholic refrain of >morning blues<, ruskin and broom deliver their new artistic agenda

sie trägt das herz auf der zunge und tanzt als gebe es kein morgen: musik ist für aerea negrot nicht nur kunst, sie ist auch die luft die sie zum leben braucht. die autobiographischen songs ihres debütalbums >arabxilla< gewähren einen tiefen einblick in ihr seelenleben und vermeiden es sich einem konkreten musikalischen genre zu verschreiben. mal bildet techno, dann house und im nächsten moment elektronik das fundament für ihre augenzwinkernd ernsten lieder. als direkte referenzen nennt die venezuelanerin gern klaus nomi, yma sumac und maria callas. jenseits des gesangs gibt es nur zwei produzenten die sie über alles verehrt: titonton duvante und ricardo villalobos. letzterer steuert nun einen remix zu ihrer neusten 12inch auskopplung bei. wie immer gibt er sich bei seiner variante des tracks >miss you< minimal, bassgewaltig und episch. vierzehn minuten rhythmus aus dem bauch heraus, so wie nur er ihn arrangieren kann. auch der berliner philip bader schätzt es minimal und verwandelt den track >its lover, love in eine charmant hüpfende house-sensation, deren sonnige magie einen ganze wochenenden lang in atem halten kann. näher dran am original und nicht minder originell spielt kiki mit >its lover, love<. aereas stimme wird hier sehnsüchtig über einen houserhythmus geloopt und verhext das ohr mit einem intensiven stimmen-dschungel. würde der name witch-house nicht längst anderweitig vergeben sein, kiki dürfte als sein erfinder gelten.
